Identification of right hepatic vein (RHV) tributaries among the three RHVs
Published: 06/14/2017
Identification of right hepatic vein (RHV) tributaries among the three RHVs. After clamping the root of the RHV, indocyanine green (2·5 µg/ml of total liver) was injected intravenously, and the liver surface observed for 300 s. The fluorescence intensity on the liver surface increased gradually and provided a clear demarcation between the veno-occlusive regions corresponding to the clamped RHV tributaries and the non-veno-occlusive regions. The border was marked using electrocautery.
