Conclusion
In this study that included 163 procedures, vagus preserving distal gastrectomy resulted in less diarrhoea after three months (P= 0.04) and 12 months (P=0.048). Appetite was improved and weight loss reduced. Cancer recurrence rates at five years were not significantly different.
