Conclusion

Ninety-four patients at high risk of endoleak were enrolled. Sac coil embolisation significantly reduced the rate of type II endoleak up to one year (14.3 versus 40.5 per cent, P=0.018), and reduced sac volume (P=0.004). It also improved the freedom from reintervention rate (P<0.001).
