Conclusion

A total of 89 patients were reviewed five years after treatment. Recanalisation occurred in 14.8 per cent of patients who had radiofrequency and 4.8 per cent of those who had glue, demonstrating non-inferiority. Sustained improvement in quality of life was recorded in both groups.
